Carnelian has been carved into beads, seals and ornaments since antiquity. Its orange-red colour naturally suggests warmth, movement and fire. 1. Choose the stone. Start with Carnelian or Jasper. Pair a small tactile crystal with a sphere, point or boldly patterned shape.
2. Bring colour into the room. Add a crystal candle or wax melt whose appearance is as interesting as its fragrance.
3. Create a sensory signal. Use citrus, orange blossom, ylang ylang or another expressive scent in an oil, incense, diffuser or roll-on.
4. Add the unexpected object. Finish with a colourful Obsidian point, gemstone planet or accessory that interrupts the ordinary.
