Product Overview
A small ceramic oil burner shaped like a cauldron, finished in black and decorated with a moon and stars design. A tealight sits beneath and warms wax melts or oil and water in the bowl on top.
The Story Behind the Design
The cauldron has been a symbol of transformation in European folklore for centuries, from the Welsh tale of Ceridwen's cauldron of inspiration to the three witches stirring theirs in Shakespeare's Macbeth. Here it is shrunk to tabletop size and put to gentler use: warming scent.

How to Use
Place the burner on a heatproof mat. Half-fill the dish with water and add a few drops of essential or fragrance oil, or drop in a wax melt without water. Light a good-quality tealight underneath. Top up the water before it runs dry, keep it away from curtains and out of reach of children, and never leave it burning unattended. If the flame ever flares, smother it with a damp cloth.
