Materials & Specifications
Teak and jati wood. Mortar approx. 9.5 x 9cm, pestle approx. 13cm. Made in Indonesia. As a natural wood product, grain and colour vary between pieces.
Care
Hand wash with warm water and a little mild soap, then dry well. Do not soak or put in the dishwasher. An occasional rub of food safe oil keeps the wood conditioned. Strongly coloured or aromatic spices may leave some scent or stain, which is normal for wood.

• Making pastes, dressings or rubs
• A natural, warm kitchen tool
• A cook or foodie gift
Auro & Co Moment
Teak has long been valued for kitchenware because its natural oils make it durable and water resistant, so a well cared for piece lasts for years. The wood warms the look of a worktop in a way stone or steel does not.

Pairs well with other wooden kitchen tools and serving pieces.
