Product Overview
Rough pieces of natural clear quartz line the inside of a black iron halo, and at its centre pale selenite bars form the old alchemical sign for Air: an upward triangle crossed by a single line. Plugged into a USB socket, the lamp glows white through the quartz. At 18 x 10 x 20.5cm it sits comfortably on a shelf, desk or bedside table as an accent light.
The Story Behind the Design
Air is one of the four classical elements described by the Greek philosopher Empedocles, alongside fire, water and earth. Later European alchemists gave each element a triangle: Air points upward like Fire, with a horizontal bar drawn through it. Clear quartz is traditionally associated with clarity and focus, while selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon.
Why You'll Love It
- Clear quartz throws a cool, crisp white light, so the stone textures read more strongly than the colour
- The crossed-triangle Air symbol is built from real selenite bars, not printed or painted on
- A compact footprint that fits a narrow shelf or the corner of a desk
- Runs from any USB socket, with an inline switch on the cable so you are not reaching behind furniture
- Pairs naturally with the Fire, Water and Earth lamps if you want to build the full set of four

Selenite towers and salt lamps sit well beside it if you are building a corner of softer, low-level light.
FAQ
Does it come with a plug?
It has an attached USB cable with an on/off switch. A USB plug adaptor is not included, but any standard USB wall adaptor or computer USB port will power it.
Is it bright enough to light a room?
No, it is a decorative accent light. Think of it as a glowing object for a shelf or desk rather than a reading lamp.
How do I clean the selenite?
Unplug the lamp and dust it with a soft, dry cloth. Selenite is a soft mineral and marks easily, so avoid water and scrubbing.
