Product Overview
Green clay, or French green clay, takes its colour from decomposed plant matter and iron oxides. It's more absorbent than white or red clay, which makes it the traditional choice for oilier skin. Green illite clay in an 80g pack, a popular cosmetic clay for making your own face or body masks. A fine green clay that absorbs oil and lifts surface grime, leaving skin feeling clean and refreshed. Well suited to normal and oilier skin.
Why You'll Love It
• A cosmetic clay powder you mix fresh, so nothing is wasted and there are no preservatives
• Mix only what you need each time — the dry powder keeps far longer than a pre-mixed mask
• Can be mixed with water, a hydrolat, or with a few drops of essential oil
• Suited to specific skin types depending on the clay (see description)
• Patch-test before first use; for external cosmetic use only
How to make a clay mask
Mix a small amount of clay with water, or with our floral water, into a smooth paste. Apply to the face or body and leave for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the paste dries. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel. You can add a few drops of essential oil to the paste if you like.
