Product Overview

A 100ml massage oil blended with Bergamot, Black Pepper and Petitgrain essential oils in a grapeseed oil base. The combination is warm and dry-spiced - bergamot adds a bright citrus edge, black pepper (Piper Nigrum) brings a sharp, woody heat, and petitgrain (from the leaves of the bitter orange tree) gives it a fresh green quality that lifts the spice.

Why You'll Love It

• Blended with genuine essential oils in a carrier oil base, not synthetic fragrance

• Can be used for massage or added to a warm bath

• The essential oil blend is chosen for a specific character or purpose

• Absorbs into skin without a heavy greasy residue

• Includes safety notes where relevant, such as citrus photosensitivity

Essential oils

  • Bergamot (Citrus Bergamia) - bright, citrusy, with a distinctive floral edge distinct from other citrus oils
  • Black Pepper (Piper Nigrum) - sharp, dry and warming, derived by steam distillation of the dried berry
  • Petitgrain - distilled from the leaves and small twigs of the bitter orange tree; fresh, woody-green character

Materials & specifications

100ml · Base: Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil · Essential oils: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Petitgrain · Made in the UK

How to use

Apply directly to skin and massage in. Can also be added to a bath. Bergamot peel oil can increase photosensitivity - avoid applying to areas that will be in direct sun shortly after. Store away from direct sunlight.

Perfect for

Massage · Anyone who likes warm, spiced citrus fragrance on the skin · Bath use · A gift for someone who prefers dry, woody scents over sweet or floral

Complete the Experience

Pairs naturally with a body butter from the range, or with an aromatherapy candle in a complementary scent.

FAQ

What does petitgrain smell like? It has a fresh, slightly woody and green character - related to neroli (from the flowers) and bitter orange (from the peel), but drier and more herbal.

Why avoid sun after applying? Cold-pressed bergamot peel oil contains compounds that can increase skin sensitivity to UV light. Avoid direct sun exposure on freshly applied areas.
