Product Overview
Set on a slightly higher base than the standard jar, this red brass piece is made for resin burned on charcoal. The tablet rests on a removable grate, and ash gathers in the body beneath. Gold-coloured patterns run around the outside. Handmade in India and named for the Sacral chakra, it stands 5cm high on a footed base, 7.5cm wide, and weighs 120g.
The Story Behind the Design
In yogic tradition the Sacral chakra, Svadhisthana, is the second of seven, placed in the lower abdomen. Its name is usually translated from Sanskrit as "one's own seat", and it is commonly linked with the element of water.
Why You'll Love It
- Red colour with gold-coloured pattern work on brass
- Higher base raises the charcoal off the surface beneath
- Grate lifts out, so the ash can be tipped away once cool
- Weighty at 120g, which helps it sit steadily
- Gives a strong pop of colour on a neutral shelf

FAQ
Which resins can I burn in it?
Any loose resin intended for burning on charcoal, such as frankincense, myrrh, copal, benzoin or dragon's blood.
Is it sold as a set?
No, each jar is sold individually, so you can choose one colour or collect several.
How do I use it safely?
Stand the jar on a heat-resistant surface away from curtains, paper and anything flammable, and never leave lit charcoal unattended. The brass gets very hot, so do not touch it while in use, and let the charcoal burn out and cool completely before emptying the ash.
