Product Overview
A 15cm copper plate etched with the Flower of Life, its overlapping circles picked out across the surface. The raised edge, 2.5cm at its highest, keeps ash, petals and loose herbs from sliding off. Use it under a smudge bundle or incense cone, or as a base for offerings and small altar pieces.
The Story Behind the Design
The Flower of Life is a pattern of evenly spaced, overlapping circles arranged in six-fold symmetry. Examples are drawn on the granite of the Temple of Osiris at Abydos in Egypt, and Leonardo da Vinci sketched the figure in his notebooks. In sacred geometry it is traditionally associated with harmony and the interconnection of living things.
Why You'll Love It
- Etched geometry catches the light as you move around it
- Raised rim contains ash and stray embers from a smudge bundle
- Flat 15cm surface, big enough for a cone, a few herbs and a small crystal
- Around 175g, easy to lift and carry from room to room
- Works just as well as a trinket plate for rings on a dressing table

An Auro & Co Moment
Before friends arrive, you light the end of a sage bundle and carry the plate slowly through the hallway, catching the falling ash on its etched circles. Back in the living room you rest the bundle on the rim to burn out. By the time the doorbell goes, the plate is on the bookcase holding a single candle.
Complete the Experience

FAQ
Can I burn incense or resin in it?
Yes, but the metal gets very hot. Add a layer of sand or another non-flammable filler first, stand it on a heat-resistant surface, and never leave it unattended while anything is burning.
What can I use it for?
Smudging, burning incense over sand, holding offerings, or simply as a decorative plate for jewellery and keys.
Will it tarnish?
Yes, copper darkens and tarnishes over time. That is normal; some people polish it back, others prefer the aged tone.
