Product Overview

The smallest of our hanging censers: a polished brass thurible with an 8cm body and a total height of 16cm including its chains. The vented lid lifts on the chain, so you can add charcoal, resin or a cone without unhooking it. Detailed cut-outs around the body let the smoke out. It weighs just 121g, light enough for a cup hook.

Why You'll Love It

  • Classic thurible shape: lidded bowl, pierced cover and chains
  • Lid lifts via the chain mechanism for easy refilling
  • Only 121g, so it hangs from a light hook or a window latch bracket
  • Works with loose incense on charcoal or with incense cones
  • Pocket-sized gift for anyone who burns resin at home

FAQ

Is it big enough for a charcoal disc?
It is designed for loose incense on a charcoal block or for incense cones. The body is 8cm tall, so smaller discs and single cones suit it best.

How do I use it safely?
Burn charcoal or cones on a heat-resistant surface or hang it well clear of curtains, shelves and anything flammable. The brass gets hot, so let it cool before touching the body or lid, and never leave it burning unattended.

How is it different from the other hanging brass burner?
This one is the compact three chain version at 121g. The larger 16.5cm burner has a cross finial and a threaded chain.
