Product Overview

A brass Flower of Life disc is the centrepiece of this slim chime, strung with four Rudraksha seed beads and finished with three brass bells. It measures 6 x 27cm, small enough for a window latch, a desk lamp or the corner of a bookshelf, and the geometric disc gives it a cleaner look than figurative chimes.

The Story Behind the Design

The Flower of Life is a pattern of overlapping circles arranged in a hexagon, found in Egyptian, Roman and medieval art, and sketched by Leonardo da Vinci in his notebooks. Rudraksha beads, from the seed of the Elaeocarpus tree, are traditionally strung as prayer beads in Hindu practice and associated with the god Shiva; the name is often translated as 'Rudra's tears'.

Why You'll Love It

  • Flower of Life pattern cut in brass, clean and geometric
  • Four textured Rudraksha seed beads, one above the disc and three over the bells
  • Three brass bells give a soft, short ring
  • Slim 6 x 27cm size for small spaces
  • A gift for anyone drawn to sacred geometry
