Product Overview
Earthy, rich and a little sweet, patchouli is the scent of old record shops and vintage markets. This masala incense comes in a 33g pack of around 11 sticks, made in India and boxed in botanical artwork.
The Story Behind It
Patchouli is Pogostemon cablin, a leafy plant in the mint family. In the 19th century, traders packed its dried leaves among Indian shawls bound for Europe to keep moths away, and the scent became so linked to those shawls that buyers came to expect it.

FAQ
How many sticks are in a pack?
Approximately 11.
What is masala incense?
Incense made by rolling a paste of ground ingredients onto the stick, rather than dipping a plain stick in fragrance oil. Masala sticks look thicker and more textured as a result.
Do I need a holder?
Yes. Use a holder that catches falling ash, on a heat-safe surface away from curtains and anything flammable, and never leave burning incense unattended.
