Product Overview
A long, shallow incense bowl in mango wood, inlaid with dark enamel and a gold Triple Moon: waxing crescent, full moon and waning crescent side by side. At 29.5cm long it gives a stick plenty of room to burn over the bowl, and the wood edges give it a warmer look than an all-metal ash catcher.
The Story Behind the Design
The three-moon symbol shows the Moon growing, full and shrinking in a single line. In modern pagan practice it is often read as the Triple Goddess of maiden, mother and crone, an idea popularised by Robert Graves in The White Goddess (1948).
