Product Overview
A small brass jar made for burning loose resin. A charcoal tablet sits on the removable grate inside, resin goes on top, and the ash drops through into the body of the jar. This one is finished in bright yellow with gold-coloured patterning, the shade linked to the Solar Plexus chakra. Handmade in India, it is 7.7cm wide and 3cm high, and weighs 95g.
The Story Behind the Design
In Hindu and yogic tradition the Solar Plexus chakra is called Manipura, a Sanskrit name usually translated as "city of jewels". It is placed around the navel, and in the seven-colour scheme widely used today it is shown in yellow. The jar takes its colour from that convention.
Why You'll Love It

- Removable grate keeps the charcoal tablet raised so ash falls clear
- Compact 7.7cm across and 3cm high footprint fits on a narrow shelf or altar cloth
- Made for loose resins such as frankincense, copal or myrrh on charcoal
- Pairs with the Root and Sacral jars for a three-colour chakra set

FAQ
Can I burn incense sticks or cones in it?
It is designed for resin on charcoal tablets. The grate supports the tablet and lets the ash fall through, which is a different job from holding a stick upright.
Does it come in other colours?
Yes. The same jar is made in red for the Sacral chakra and burgundy for the Root chakra, and each colour also comes in a taller version on a raised base.
How do I use it safely?
Stand the jar on a heat-resistant surface away from curtains, paper and anything flammable, and never leave lit charcoal unattended. The brass gets very hot, so do not touch it while in use, and let the charcoal burn out and cool completely before emptying the ash.
